Fleur Beale wins Storylines Margaret Mahy Award

This is New Zealand's top award for achievement in children's literature and she is a worthy recipient. Fleur Beale is one of my favourite New Zealand authors. She writes stories that are funny, thought-provoking and relatable.  Her books have won literary awards and others have been shortlisted for awards.
